It was an absolutely beautiful day for Hamcation on February 10, 2024 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando, FL.
We don’t have an exact count of members who attended but at least 16 have been identified thru photos or in-person QSOs. Below is everyone we could find for a group photo outside the South Hall.

I don’t know if anyone picked up a new rig but items from BNC-PL259 adapters to beautifully crafted Bengali CW keys were taken home.

Fred W2SUB managed to capture a photo of the Big Foot of Flex Radio items, the Maestro™. This elusive device has been slated for release for several years.

Amateurfunkauto
Many hams have mobile setups. Some only VHF/UHF, others add HF and other things. This car was incredible! The amount of equipment Scott Farrell, KE4WMF has packed into this small Volkswagen GTI is impressive to say the least. Check out his QRZ for photos of the driver cockpit. To answer the question I’m sure some of us had, “First things first, a response to the most common question or statement that I see or hear: YES, I am married! HAHA!”

In the End
It’s always fun attending Hamcation. Talking with the vendors, hunting for the “thing” you just have to get and maybe having a face-to-face QSO with someone you only talk to on the radio. I had a great time. I hope others did as well. After a long day of walking around Hamcation, I really enjoyed my return trip in Business Class!
