UPARC Board Meeting Minutes for October 4, 2025
President Ryan Rager AF4O called meeting to order at 8:36 AM.

Discussion Items
• Future club meeting training topics planned
– November – Mobile Communications
– December – Annual meeting, picnic and election
– January – TBD but likely to be Winter Field Day
• Board member responsibilities and workload redistribution document to be reviewed by all Board members with a follow-up by Ryan Rager AF4O with a Slack huddle in next few weeks. This must be finalized prior to the final nominations in the November clubmeeting.
• Estate sales of ham radio equipment was discussed with a need for a consistent process and what the monetary split for members vs. non-members should be. Botero to put together a DRAFT process document and route to the Board for review and approval within 2 weeks.
• Welcome message for new members was discussed. Since the automated message is not working this will be assigned to Member-at-Large going forward to be sent manually.
• Botero to follow-up with vendor on potential club merchandise with new logo in 2 weeks and advise the Board on findings.
• UPARC leaders will meet with the Principal at Countryside HS to discuss a potential student radio station in that school. Member Yaeger will propose multiple possible dates of availability.
• Nominations Committee is formed. Dee Hooker is leader with Alan Streitman and Ron Appel as the other members.
