December 4, 2021
- Call to order
Jack Kinney (N4KIN) welcomes meeting attendees to Fire station #65 at 10:04 AM.

Officer Introductions
Motion made and approved for Jason (N4BOZ) and Ron (W4RFA) to serve as interim treasurer and Member at large for the remainder of 2021.
Treasurer’s report (N4BOZ): Notice being sent to membership for club dues . Details of the financial slide are presented. Alan (W4UB) has managed the assets of the club to include the purchase of an ICOM 7600 and sale of several donated radios. Round of applause for those efforts.
President’s report (N4KIN): No club breakfast for December because of the holiday. Winter Field Day is the 5th Saturday in January, and the club breakfast is the 4th Saturday at the Broken Egg Café.
License testing occurs at 0830 prior to the club meeting.
Bud (WO4K) is moving to Tennessee.
Results of testing this morning was 1 new technician and a new general license were awarded. Free club membership was offered to the new license holders.
Echo-Link update provided by Tom (NY4I). Currently a Palm Harbor location for the transmitter is being sought for the radio, power supply and a Raspberry Pi.
Raffle is completed and winnings (46.00$) donated to the club.
Meeting is adjourned and the next meeting is January 8th. Informational text messages are available from the club. Today’s presentation is available on the UPARC website.
Pat (AA0O) (president of CARS) is attending today.
Winter Field Day occurs next month and will be an opportunity for non-licensed folks to operate. The boards of UPARC, CARS and SPARC will be planning this event. Activities will be held outside the Fire Training Center on Belcher Rd. Jason (N4BOZ) asks for volunteers for the planning committee.
Hamcation in Orlando is occurring and is briefly described.
Tampa Bay hamfest schedule announced by Pat (AA0O).
