Treasurer’s report – income $140.69, current balance $10,035.29, 63 paid out of 69 total UPARC members.
VE report – 4 exam candidates. 3 Technicians and a General passed exams.
Net Report – 98 logins for the month. Jack N4KIN is the new record holder with 23 check-ins.
Hamwan – Ryan AF4O provided status.
Training – Steve N4FOY will hold a technician exam course on Nov. 11 and 18 at East Lake Fire Station 57.
Monthly Breakfast with CARS –Sept. 23 @ Another Broken Egg.
Route 66 on the air event will be held Sept. 9-17.
Jason N4BOZ received the President’s award.
Alan W4UB booked shelter 12 at Chesnut Park for the Election Picnic on Nov. 4.
The nomination committee last call for candidates will be held at the Oct. 7 UPARC monthly meeting.
JOTA will be held at the Scout camp in Lutz on Oct. 20 -22. Amateur radio exam testing will be conducted
on site.
A presentation on QRP equipment and operation was held by SPARC member Bill KG4ZOZ.
50/50 raffle results: Total $56 total, $28 winnings were donated to the club.
Next club meeting is on Oct. 7.
