The Upper Pinellas Amateur Radio Club, Incorporated is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes. These purposes include scientific education (e.g. amateur radio) for the public, youth organizations and various “First Responders” (e.g. Fire stations); fostering discussions and education in basic radio operation and advances in radio technology. We strive to provide both trained personnel and equipment for emergency communications (including data) during and after major events such as hurricanes. We serve the amateur radio community in northern Pinellas county including the cities of Oldsmar, Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Clearwater, Largo, Seminole as well as unincorporated areas such as Palm Harbor, Ozona, and the surrounding areas
