President's Award

March 2025

All of us know an amateur radio operators favorite thing is more toys, but also near and dear to most of our hearts is food. Especially at field day events there is usually a group of people which keeps the hungry hams fed. This month the President’s Award when to all of those who make it happen. Not everyone is shown here, but the thanks is still the same!

This month’s award went to Rob Bird WD4IFT for his support of the club’s Get-on-the-Air (GOTA) activities as well as all the other things Rob does for the club.

September 2024

We had another double award this month. Alan W4UB and Dee W4DCH for their work in managing Silent Key estate sales which financially benefited UPARC.

August 2024

This month, President Fred Botero W2SUB brought us a double-header President’s Award. The first award was give to Ray Dabkowski W8RD for services to the club as a topic presenter and for assistance with Honeymoon Island events.

The second award was given to high school teacher and newly minted ham Julie Yaeger KQ4TVM for completing the ARRL teachers program, passing Technician exam and for promoting ham radio to her students.
