The Upper Pinellas Amateur Radio Club (“UPARC”) has served amateur radio operators in upper Pinellas County of the West Central Florida are since 2012.
We are an active club with a myriad of activities each month including a regular club meeting, exam sessions, a weekly net on the club repeater, Field Day (Winter and Summer (ARRL) and a monthly breakfast gathering.
We have an active group of club members that assist others in setting up antennas and their stations in addition to a very active Parks on the Air community that operates from various state parks in the area.
We have an popular website as well as a Slack server which allows members and guests to exchange information rapidly.
We welcome new members to stop by any club event to see if they want to join a group of like-minded hams to get the most out of this wonderful avocation.
While we generally serve hams in Palm Harbor, Oldsmar, Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, Clearwater, East Lake and surrounding areas, we have members all around Tampa Bay and all are welcome to attend any club functions.
