The Upper Pinellas Amateur Radio Club, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) corporation.

We have finally received our letter of determination from the IRS. It gives me great pleasure to announce that the Upper Pinellas Amateur Radio Club, Inc. is now a 501(c)(3) not for profit, public charitable organization. This means that individuals and organizations can make tax deductible donations to our club and we can apply for grants.

Additionally, we are eligible to receive donations from AmazonSmile. AmazonSmile allows buyers to donate a small percentage of their purchase(s) to a charity, or charities, of their choice. Stewart Whitehouse – KE4YH, Silent Key (SK)

Sadly, we just learned that Stewart Whitehouse KE4YH became a Silent Key on March 10th, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family including his son, and UPARC member Earle Whitehouse KJ4WKJ.

Kevin Poorman – KV4CT, Silent Key (SK)

From ELCERT: It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Kevin Poorman. Kevin rarely missed a chance to volunteer his time to help the community.
